Environmental Regulation and Compliance
Prerequisites: Successful completion of all developmental course work in math, reading, and writing as indicated through placement testing.

This course provides an overview of environmental regulations and compliance issues related to current environmental law. History of environmental regulations will be covered, as well as regulations that are currently enforced or are in the process of being implemented. Methods of compliance with regulations will also be examined at the local, state, and federal level.

Natural Resources Conservation and Management with lab

This course covers the history and practice of the management of natural resources such as water, air, soil, timber, and wildlife. Emphasis will be placed on the application of ecological principles to promote sustainable management. Modern techniques and technology that assist natural resource management will be addressed. In addition, the value of natural resources will be discussed in terms of economics, ecosystem services, and other less tangible measurements.
