PERT WORKSHOP
Sign up for a PERT Workshop before your take the test and review the PERT Study guide with the math and English tutors! We will also discuss what your scores will mean and the options for remediation after taking the PERT. Lots of helpful information for the student who is returning after being out of school for a while and the first time in college student who is trying to navigate in a brand new world!
To register, select the PERT Workshop on the Leesburg campus. Then, find a date and time that is best for you.

To log in for online tutoring, please click on the link below. To enter Blackboard, put in your Xid as the user name and your password and click enter (your password is your birthdate with a two digit year, unless you have changed it). Once in Blackboard, click on the "Virtual Tutoring" link on on the right hand side of the screen under "Courses You're Enrolled in as a Student."
Information for Students
It is the Learning Center's mission to provide a variety of programs and tools that will enable each LSSC student to achieve academic success.
If you have what it takes to be a math, science, nursing or English tutor, or if you are bilingual and would like to work with students who are improving their language skills, please come by or contact us at learningcenter@lssc.edu. Part time jobs may be available.
