Co-op Programs
Cooperative Education allows students to gain work experience directly related to their academic major. The Course offers students the opportunity to be placed in an employment or volunteer position, complete assigned duties and special projects, interact with supervisors and co-workers, learn work and education related skills, to be evaluated on that performance by an employer or supervisor and earn college credit and a grade.
The student may also be required to create a resume and cover letter, and solicit a letter of recommendation from the employer. Students will learn employability skills to help them in their search for full time employment upon completion of their educational goals.
