LSSC recognizes the value Dual Enrollment offers in providing strong academics aligned to post-secondary standards, increases to student engagement, and high school student exposure to adult expectations. Dual enrolled students statistically have an increased positive attitude towards earning a post-secondary degree and have higher rates of success in that effort than those who are not. Benefits of this program include:
- Graduate from high school
- Build momentum towards completing a college degree
- Enroll in college
- Earn higher college grade point averages
- Retain in college to the second year
- Start college in a four year institution
Important Updates:
Beginning May 6th 2013: The College will be closed on Friday's and will operate during normal business hours Monday through Thursday. The college will resume Monday through Friday hours of operation beginning the first week in August.
