Jennifer Belarmino
Head Volleyball Coach
Jennifer Belarmino comes to Lake Sumter after previously serving as the Head Volleyball Coach at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. During her tenure at WVU Tech she became the winningest coach in the school's history. She also was an assistant at Middle Tennessee State University and the University of South Alabama. She was the co-director of Gulf Coast Select Volleyball Club and has coached juniors volleyball for many years as well. Many of her former players have gone on to play collegiately including: Florida State, Northwestern, Auburn, and many others. Coach Jennifer Belarmino (formally Jennifer Cook) is from Wilmington, OH. She had a stellar prep career at Wilmington High School and played collegiate volleyball as a rightside hitter for the University of Illinois and Ball State University. Coach Belarmino graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She is married to assistant coach Brian Belarmino and they have 3 children Alexis, Brady, and Brooke.
Kirsten Germeroth
Assistant Volleyball Coach
Kirsten Germeroth joins the volleyball staff after having an accomplished career at Lake-Sumter State College. The Tavares High School graduate played four years of club volleyball for the Central Florida Volleyball Club. She was named the best defensive player and MVP for the club. At Tavares High School, she played four years of varsity volleyball and was named captain for two years. She played two seasons at LSSC where she was an Academic All-American and named to the prestigious Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. After LSSC, Kirsten went on to play Collegiate Sand Volleyball at Stetson University. Kirsten will be training the defense, recruiting and working summer camps for the Lake-Sumter State College Volleyball team.
Brian Belarmino
Assistant Volleyball Coach
Brian Belarmino comes to Lake-Sumter after serving as the top assistant at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He has been an assistant coach at the University of West Florida, University of South Alabama, and Middle Tennessee State University. He has served as a head varsity high school volleyball coach and has coached juniors volleyball for many years. He was a co-director of Gulf Coast Select Volleyball Club a member of USA Volleyball based out of Niceville, FL. Coach Belarmino has had many student-athletes continue on and play at all levels of collegiate volleyball. Coach Belarmino is from Pensacola, FL and graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Physical Education.
