Before logging into Blackboard, make sure your computer is properly configured: Read the list of Minimum Computer Requirements Check your Browser and Plugins

To login to Blackboard for the very first time, you will need to know:

• Your XID (Look up your XID)
• Your Birthdate

On our Blackboard Login Page, look for the text-entry box labeled Username. Type your XID in this box, starting with a capital X.

Just below the Username box is the Password box. In the Password box, type your six-digit birthdate: MMDDYY. So, if your birthdate was January 1, 1991, your password would be 010191.

Click the Login button. Your should then see your online classes.
