I love history and am teaching EUH 1000 and AMH 2035 during Summer 2013.
Elsewhere, I am employed as
an adjunct professor of history at Santa Fe College,
where I have worked since 2006, and work with American Public University
Systems in Washington, D.C. I have also served at some point as an
adjunct professor at Bethune-Cookman (Daytona, FL), Concordia University
(Ann Arbor, MI), and Washtenaw Community College (Ypsilanti, MI).
Over my decade of instruction I have taught Western Civilization I
and II, American History I and II, African American History, American
Indian History, and 20th Century Russia.
I received a BA in history from the University of Michigan, 1995; an MS
in international affairs from Florida State University, 1997; and, an MA
in history from Eastern Michigan University, 2005. I am ABD at the
University of Florida with specializations in Native American women,
gender and urbanization in the 20th century.
On a personal note, I have two sons, a 16 month old and a 2 month old baby. They keep me busy but I also enjoy trivia, Jeopardy!, watching TV and living in Florida.
