Module 4: Evaluating Information
Even though you have located some information, you must consider that not all information is valid or useful for your purpose. You must determine whether or not the information is authoritative, accurate and meets your research needs.
At the end of this module you will be able to evaluate a source to:
- Determine whether the information is authoritative.
- Determine when the currency of information is important to your research.
- Identify the author's point of view and understand bias.
- Evaluate the quality and reliability of a website.
